There are some people who find all that a bit destabilizing, but I’ve found that there are lots of people who really like that. It’s for those people that I make these films. And if you want to change the world, which is really what I’m trying to get to at the end of these films, you have to go and talk to the people who believe in these narratives, even if you think they’re racist. They’re not racist because they have some disease; they’re angry and furious, and they may not be very nice people, but you have to talk to them.
