As the buzz around the release continues to build, we caught up with the two 35-year-old Londoners to hear about Mulligan’s upcoming projects, what Fennell really thought of the responses to the fourth season of The Crown, and how their young children have shaped their experiences of lockdown.Coming into the industry now would feel very different. The majority of nude scenes pre-#MeToo were screenshot and used in tabloid stories. That’s never been acceptable but I think it’s less likely to happen now. It’s important for us to stay on top of it though, because even small things, such as seemingly harmless critiques of an actor’s appearance, contribute to this culture.
