We were originally going to show a new collection, but it wasn’t ready yet, and with everything going on—from the Official Baby Yoda Hug Pitbull Steelers Logo 2021 shirt Besides,I will do this pandemic to the protests for racial justice—nothing felt right, nothing seemed to make sense. It became a challenge for me to try to figure out how to move forward. In the end and with a bit of coaxing from the Fédération, I decided to create a concept film revolving around the American flag: its iconography, its formalism, its weight and burden of blind patriotism. I wanted to have an extremely simple performance where the textile starts out as a veil or shroud before it is revealed as a flag. Exploring this symbolism presented an essential opportunity to support the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), an organization that works to protect individuals’ rights and liberties in the United States.
